Papers of Hunziker (1873-1959), a pioneer in the field of dairy science, head of the Purdue University Dairy Department (1910-1916), and president of the American Dairy Science Association (1910-1911). Files include biographical information, speeches, articles, a research file on non-fat dry milk, memorabilia from a tour of dairying operations in Australia and New Zealand (1927), other materials (some in German) concerning dairy science, a memorial publication for Hunziker's father, Professor Otto Hunziker (1841-1909) of Switzerland, and oversize certificates and other items. Photographs relate to Hunziker's professional career and personal life and include images related to dairy research conducted in Venezuela when he was a delegate there for the USDA.
